May 18-21 in Moscow (VVTS, pavilion 69) will be held an exhibition "Perspective technologies of the 21 century".

According to the event organization committee, the purpose of the exhibition is to increase competitiveness of home-made products both on home and foreign markets, and to foster innovation process providing for targeted commercialisation of technologies created in the framework of the federal targeted scientific and technological programme "Research and Development in Priority Directions of Scientific and Technological Development" for 2002-2006. The exhibition will demonstrate the achievements of scientific research institutes and industrial enterprises in developing perspective technologies for real sector of economy.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the RF Ministry of industry and science is planning to organize and hold round tables, business meetings, presentations of enterprises, firms, companies, discussions and debates to result in recommendations on home industry development and promotion of cutting-edge high technology to the real sector of economy; also there will be the gala ceremony of awarding the winners of the All-Russia contest "For the best technological development in the field of perspective technologies for the real sector of economy".
