On 27 May in Chelyabinsk will be held a conference "Practical experience and prospects of e-trade development in Russian Federation subjects". It is held as part of the 3d international conference "Electronic Russia – for a person, business and society", that will be run as a series in all federal districts of Russia in 2004 .

In accordance with the verdict of the Board of the RF Ministry of Communications of 2 December 2003, it is planned to hold regional conferences «Electronic Russia – for a person, business and society" in every federal district of Russia. The topics of the conference are designed individually for every federal district, taking into account the specifics of information and communication technology (ICT) development in the corresponding region. The purpose of the conference is for RF subjects to work out a complex approach to solving concrete problems of implementation of information and communication technologies.
