23 March – 4 April the 3d Far East Internet Forum will be carried out in Khabarovsk.

According to the Forum organization committee, the event is to be conducted by a non-profit organisation "Khabarovsk Laboratory for E-commerce" with the support of the governments of Khabarovsk region and Jewish autonomous region. The Forum’s main targets are filling information vacuum, establishing contacts between businesspeople and solution providers, as well as information exchange with representatives of Moscow companies doing well in e-business, noted the organizational committee. The organizers hope that the would-be effect from accumulation of new ideas and solutions will make the basis for developing a programme of Far East informatisation together with the beginning of carrying out federal targeted information programmes. Moreover, the Forum will result in regional enterprises substantially increasing their activity in the field of IT and in increase in investment attractiveness of the Far East economy.
